Best travel insurance for international trips to Europe?

I am traveling to Europe for three weeks and want to buy travel insurance that actually covers me properly. What are the best travel insurance plans for international trips? I want coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and flight delays. I have looked at World Nomads, Allianz, and Travel Guard but I am not sure which one is the best value. Has anyone filed a claim with any of these and how was the experience?

For Europe trips, here are the top travel insurance options I would recommend based on personal experience: 1. World Nomads - Popular among travelers. Good medical coverage up to $100,000, covers adventure sports, and you can buy or extend coverage while already traveling. Claims process is online and takes about 2-3 weeks. Cost is around $40-60 per week. 2. Allianz Global Assistance - Solid comprehensive plans. Their OneTrip Prime plan covers trip cancellation up to $10,000 and medical up to $25,000. I filed a claim for a missed connection and was reimbursed within 10 days. Cost is about $30-50 per week. 3. Travel Guard (AIG) - Good for trip cancellation coverage. Their Essential plan is budget-friendly at around $25-35 per week but has lower medical limits. 4. SafetyWing - $42 per month, covers you globally including Europe. Good for longer trips. Medical coverage up to $250,000 with a $250 deductible. For Europe specifically, check if your health insurance covers you internationally. Most US plans do not. The Schengen visa requires minimum 30,000 EUR medical coverage if you need a visa.
